Mindful Movement Classes
Mindful Movement classes are a combination of different approaches, mainly Somatics and Pilates inspired by the work of M. Feldenkrais and I. Rolf.
The focus of these classes is to learn how gentle and slow perceptual exercises can have such a beneficial effect to relax tense areas in the body and reorganise the old habitual movement patterns that may be related to chronic pain.
By working with the body directing awarwness to specific aspects of the movements, the effects can of course, be also felt at an emotional and mental level.
After the classes, people tend to feel calmer and very relaxed.
My aim in running these classes is to be able to hold a space where you can feel safe to slow down, explore and get nurtured by being-in-yourself.
